I have rheumatoid arthritis and a friend of mine told me to take one aleve tablet with 3,000mg of MSM. I would like to know if this is going to work because I’m not sure about this.
I am posting this question for my mom. I know that the best thing to do is seek a physician’s opinion, but my mom will not go. She puts it off and is stubborn.
Earlier today, my mom took a dizzy spell and fell on to the coffee table in our living room. She said she didn’t black out, but I am unsure. She said she had been dizzy most of the day. As of late, she has been complaining of her arms (shoulders specifically, and all down her arms) hurting. She did go see a dr a few weeks ago who put her on an arthritis medicine. Could that med have caused a dizzy spell? Also, she says she feels like she is constantly hungry. I have considered diabetes (I work for a doc. and was taking medical classes and some smptoms are similar to diabetes, but I don’t know).
Does anyone know what this could be?

Thank you sooooo much. There aren’t enough thumb-ups to show you how much I appreciate your input!!
I just knew there HAD to be some connection!
I have just been diagnosed with osteoarthritis. So, I am new to this. I was just wondering if someone could please tell me the reason to why you get this disease and if it is anything that a doctor could give you to cure it? Will medication help this disease or will it just be a waste of time trying to take medication for it? I have been in so much pain for the last few weeks behind this illness and I am currently going to the therapist to do some exercises on the foot that is messed up. I was just wondering if I could get some kind of advice on this sickness and if there is somethinf I can do or get to help my siguation?
I have had juvenile rheumatoid Arthritis since I was in like 3rd grade. I haven’t got it checked out since I was in 5th grade. I did blood test after blood test, X ray after X ray. But now I’m 21 and my doctor (i’ve had for 2 years) told me I should go to a specialist because it has gotten worse (at least the pain has). I feel like my knees are weaker (its in my leg joints from top to bottom.) I was wondering, how to find a specialist that works for me? My doctor recommended me one but shes just going to put me on some medicine saying its going to stop it and I’m afraid of that stuff because it hasn’t been out long enough. I’m not sure what to look for since I’m only 21. I don’t want to be EVER be on pain pills that scares me as well (I don’t want addiction). But other alternatives would be nice. Help please! HAVE A WONDERFUL DAY THANKS!
ps I have taken Naproxen (I HATE IT, I get sick and dizzy from it) and my old doctor used to tell me to down ibuprofen (I’m afraid will harm me if I keep that up) And I exercise 2 times a week to keep joints good and healthy :/
Hey everybody, my dog is pretty much obese, and I have tried everything! She is currently on diet food, i have reduced her food consumtion, and I walk her for 1 hour and a half everyday! She’s a black lab and I read that obesity is common in labs, also she’s fixed so that might be a reason. Please help! is there anything else I can do? Im afraid she’s going to get diabetes or arthritis or something! Please help!
Im only 14 and I have been begging my mother to take her to the vet, but she keeps putting it aside like its not important. Also ive been saving up my money I earn so that I can get her lisenced so I can take her to the dog park to run around.
I have also stopped giving her treats. Although on the odd ocasion i will give her a small cube of cheese or a grape tomato. I was told that those things were okay for her.
I think my mother may be the one feeding my dog table scraps. (she doesn’t really care for Dakota that much, and she wont listen to me….)
