my dog is 12 years old and in recent days can’t stand on her back legs, she was given a shot and medication by the vet but still continued the same, we took her back to the vet, was told she has arthritis and had to take medication for the rest of her life, this was on monday, today she can’t get up at all and is bleeding from the nose, the vet ‘thinks’ medication might help so now the dog is on other medication…has anyone had this problem with their dog? the dog has had blood test, x-rays etc!

all the churches get together and pray the war in Iraq would stop?
Saving all those young men from dieing. Wouldn’t that be better than praying for anything else like arthritis in old people.
Give young people a chance to get old and get arthritis.
You guys are really cold. They didn’t chose to be there. The government sent them over there. Your so self righteous.

I know this guy that has real bad arthritis and he drinks ginger root tea and he said it took most of his pain and aloud him to get around a lot better. Is their and ginger root capsules that will do the same.

My baby has had a lot of chest congestion for a few months now (he is 5 1′2 months currently). He has had some albuterol a while back. The ENT said he has some drainage in his ears, but nothing big. He has been vomiting more and more, but not a milk allergy. The doctor has prescribed a steriod called Prednisolone. It lasts for 9 days. On the package, it says for allergies, asthma, arthritis. Well, has anyone experienced thier baby having allergies or athsma and what were their symptoms? How did you find out what was going on? What did you do to help? Any ideas would be helpful in your experiences. Thanks.

P.S. We have switch formulas and it didn’t help. I also think it could be reflux, but I am not sure, the doc and I are tring to figure it out.
Also, if you used this medicine, what happened?

I am a 21 year old male living in New Jersey. I recently learned that medical marijuana has been legalized in my state, but apparently our marijuana laws are stricter than some places like California. I have rheumatoid arthritis and have been in treatment by an arthritis specialist for over a year now.
I know there is medical evidence to support that medical marijuana can be used to reduce pain and even reduce inflammation in the joints of arthritis patients.
So my question is how difficult is it to get medical marijuana for my condition or is it even possible with my condition? If it is possible where I live, how do I go about starting off getting on this program? I was thinking about asking my specialist about it at my next appointment but I’m afraid I can get in trouble for asking about it.
Thanks in advanced for any positive advice that you can offer. Please don’t try to convert me away from this idea either or give me a speech about the morals behind this either. I’m in terrible pain every day of my life and I don’t want to have to rely on narcotics like opiates to get my old life back. Marijuana has never directly been linked to cancer alone (meaning someone caught cancer by smoking only marijuana and not tobacco), it isn’t physically addictive, and it is much physically safer than any other form of relief I have tried thus far that actually works. So once again, thanks, but don’t even bother wasting your time tell me that I shouldn’t smoke cannabis, or why I shouldn’t smoke cannabis. Thanks.

Im moving into a new house in a couple weeks and my problems is im not sure how im going to get my dog into the car, hes 98 pounds at least, 13 years old and has arthritis. He cant even walk up stairs. Does anybody have any ideas on how to get him in and out of the car without him getting hurt?
Hes 13 hes had all his shots already, and the last time we brought him to the vet he jumped out the car and almost fell.

Okay ever since I was young it felt like I had a hard time learning not to bad but it was easy to be dealt with. I have some kind of problem I think it is a spinal cord disorder, but I always limp when I walk and my hamstrings are tight causing it.

So after I had surgery spellling and understanding things became very difficult. I had surgery on my ankle and below my knee to try to stretch the hamstring or something so I can walk more straighter.

Ever since I had the surgery spelling got so much worse. It feels hard to write like probably what a 3rd grader can do.

I spell their thier, and mix up weird and wierd , their thier and alot more, and it takes me so much time to process simple things. Also when I talk it feels like I have to think so hard to just speak normal like when to say has or had, it’s not to big but noticable when talking.

I do very good in school, because I try very hard and put in the extra time into it, but it gets so annoying. Like it feels that I could be taking AP classes if it wasn’t for this annoying problem.

Like when I write i also some time put lets say I was going to spell write I would first put the i then the w before it and finish it off.

I am too afraid to tell anyone but I already know that I have a learning disability since I am on an IEP for school. What is there to do. I don’t think this is something that can be cured

My parents work so hard for me, and I am going to college next year. It is going to be so hard and embarresing when I type up essays slow or take time to read things.

Like sometimes when I read it feels like I am reading in spanish. EXAMPLE: Like I know how to pronounce the words(sometimes), but I don’t understand it. Then if I read lets say a book slow I kind of understand it but not simpily like everyone else does.

I feel that I don’t know the meaning of simple words. Also my hand writting is really shaky” Im assuming from the spasm”. and my fingers get tired easily from writting and Ive been cracking them so much it feels sometimes like I am going to get arthritis if I don’t relax, but in 12th grade.. you cannot relax.

Please don’t tell me anything mean that will make me feel like giving up on life. Is there any medication to fix this, if so what? What else is there to do

Sorry about writting this in a messy unformated way.

I have frequent muscle cramps, and it used to be JUST really bad in my calfs. It o so bad I would sleep though them, and my legs would be sore for a couple of weeks.

NOW, I don’t have charlie horses so much as other places now. It was my shoulders next to the side of my neck. I am well endowed, so the bra straps don’t help. I often have twitching in a LOT of places. I recently had the FRONT of my neck cramp. right where an Adams apple would be.I think it’s the one that controls my tounge OR connected to it. I also have lower back problems. I drink a LOT more than a regular person but I don;t have diabetes. I think I have Fibromyalga or Arthritis. I also have been having more frequent foot cramps. I have frequent head aches etc, which describes the Fybro one.

FYI: I have PLENTY of salt in my diet… and I dont do anything strenuous, and I have serous problems with my hips. I’m not as fleible so to speak anymore… I’m 21, no kids and not extremely oevr weight….

Sorry for the novel, just trying to list everything
Sorry for any mis-spellings

Thanks in advanced!

Do to avoid just living on pain pills? It hurts so bad that most exercises and stretching is out of the question. I can barely walk today.

I’m 26 years old and my knees are very bad. They don’t hurt at all, but every move I make I hear cracking. Specially when I bend my knees, its when I hear it the most. I’m concerned about arthritis in my future, what should I do know to minimize my symptoms?
