A close family friend is suffering with terminal cancer, he also has arthritis. He mentioned that his insurance company, Humana, has started rejecting certain medications like Celebrex. They are also requesting upfront payments as high as $5,000 before certain treatments will be carried out. I am wondering if anyone knows of a service who can verify the rejections and intervene on his behalf. He and his family just want to enjoy this time without worrying about insurance manoeuvering.
16 and might have arthritis?
i’m 16, and arthritis runs in my family a lot. well my symptoms are all my joints hurt. they always grind, crack, pop, very easily and sometimes get so bad i cry. recently it’s been my hips. they give out and sometimes i can’t walk.
i’m going tomorrow to get blood work done to know for sure, but i want to know some other opinions from people who have arthritis and if this seems like it, and what do you do to help the pain?
and if you think it might be something else please speak up.
(i stretch everyday and walk my dog almost everyday)
thanks

My docter and I both think I have ra,were just waiting until I can see a rheumatologist for there opinion. I was just wondering what the pain of ra feels like. My joints are either stabbing, throbbing, and sometimes in my shoulders or knuckles it’ll be burning. Is this ra?
I’m sorry for any spelling mistakes I’m on my iPod. It’s hard to type on this little keyboard.
I asked the question about pot. I can tell who is really suffering and who works in a pain clinic. I am almost 40 years old. I was born with arthritis and diagnosed when I was 7. Every joint in my body is deformed. My tibias are rotated. My arms are rotated. I have had over 46 surgeries due to arthritis. The last one I almost died. I’m damn tired of taking pills and I hate the taste of pot-but it helps better than anything I’ve tried in 40 years. I have Juvenile rheumatoid arthritis, adult rheumatoid arth(they are very different) spinal stenosis, TMJ, osteoporosis, soft tissue disease, tendonitis, bursitis, rheumatoid nodules that cause me much pain, fibromyalgia, osteoarthritis, everywhere anything connects or doesn’t is where I hurt. the only thing that doesn’t hurt is my damn nose. My skulll hurts because I have bumps like knots in your back only they are all over my head and they hurt. I can hardly walk and have been in and out of my electric wheelchair for years at a time. But hey
We have a 7 year old dog that has hip dysplasia and arthritis. He is crying in his sleep now and my husband has had to physically take him outside to go potty. It is sooo sad! We have been giving him aspirins twice a day and glucosamine supplements as well. He is still eating as long as you put the food right in front of him. I really dont want to make this call. Don’t dogs have high pain tolerances? He is actually moaning and crying when he’s laying down. When do you know it’s time to put him out of his misery? He’s a young dog, this is crazy.
Several doctors, including specialists have been consulted, but their anwers vary. Some say the pain is an effect of arthritis, while others assert that it is due to gastroenteritis. The pain is acute, and travels through her body, affecting one part for a time-varying from a few hours, to a few days-and then another. The affected area swells up, and the slightest touch or attempt to move it hurts her. I would be grateful if someone could advise me on what exactly is causing this pain, and what can cure it; or, at the very least, what kind of specialist to consult.
This question is for my fiancee. He has arthritis and wanted to know if it can cause nerve pain. Is it possible for this to happen? Has anyone out there heard of this and if it is really true? Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated.
my cat eats diet cat food but she gains weight. but my dog esats it half the time and i dont no if the cat or the dog eats it so i put in more. but my dog probly doesnt no which food is hers because she is blind, deaf, cancer 4 6 years, arthritis and other problems. Also i need help with a good way to get my dad to put down the dog because she is 15 and is obvioulsy not happy but i hate her so my dad think i just want her gone but she is unhappy friends and family all say its time but my dad says she is still happy, yeah when he is home, but he is at work all day, when she goes out every 5 minutes think (i need 2 go out) ( i was just out. bark) 5 minutes later ( i need to go out ) (i was just out. bark) and she cant get up the stairs so i have to help her up every 5 minutes because she is a retarded dog. so i need help with the cat food problem, the telling the dad thing and if question 2 fails, assaination of my dog. I will resort to that if she is still here in 2 years. thank you…
