You are what you eat: healthy food choices, nutrition, and the child with juvenile rheumatoid arthritis. : An article from: Pediatric Nursing

I am trying for a baby with my hubby. the problem is that he has a health problem that stops him from, ahem, moving sometimes. So, If I am ovulating and he is frozen with his psoriatic arthritis, is it possible to use his sperm manually removed for impregnating myself another way. I am choosing my words carefully and blushing. My options are limited. He will go on meds soon so he will be able to mobilise better but the meds make him effectively sterile for the duration of use.

My symptoms are,low white blood cell count, low grade fever, eczema, arthritis, joint pain etc.Is anyone with the disease familiar with those symptoms(because not everyone gets the same symptoms).Took an ANA test have not gotten the results.Anyone with experience and would like to share?Thank u.

My grandfather was told by his doctor that due to his arthritis, his lungs seem to be shrinking and it could cause breathing problems if not helped. The doctor gave him medicine to ease the arthritis but said he was unsure how it would affect the lungs and if the lungs got worse he could become a disabled man.

What does the doctor mean by disabled? Is this something I should be worried about severely and how can I help my grandfather diet and excersise wise? I’d appreciate any information you can provide.

I have been going to PT for a little over a month and a half and it seems to be helping. They have been doing treatments including scraping, ultrasound and taping. I was just wondering if tendinitis ever goes away? I know that arthritis doesn’tt. Thanks for the help
