Some Arthritis sufferers are said to be able to “feel” rain is on the way, or feel more acute symptoms even though they may be indoors during rainy or colder weather.

Why?

Any hard evidence?

Any web links?

Thanks!

I’ve been to about every website on the internet researching. A lot of the websites offer the same advice about avoiding red meat, animal fats, and drinking lots of water. Some of the sites differ on whether you can eat nuts, cranberries, tomatoes, and canned foods. I was recently diagnosed and I’m not thrilled with the thoughts of taking medications for the rest of my life. I’m an RN and know probably too much about the side effects and complications of some of these medicines. Thank you!!

My right knee has arthritis. The pain comes and goes. I love jogging and tennis but it just kills me. I hate to give those up but will if it gets too bad.
But is there any good knee braces on the market that might alleviate the pain and prevent more damage?

I sprained my ankle and 8 weeks later developed what is diagnosed as osteoarthritis in my elbow. Are these two conditions related?

I was born with JRA, and i went into medical remission (which is really good) sometime in 4th grade, I have had four quiet years, but now, i have a flare up. Originally, i had arthiritis only in my left wrist and pointer finger, but the flare up came in my left ankle, and now possibly both my knees. It started in the mid-to-end of August, and now it is the 25 of November. Is this to long for a flare up?

I have a husky/german shepherd mix and he is almost 8 years old. He has arthritis in his hind legs and tends to snap at you when trying to groom him. I am at my wits end because he looks so terrible right now and won’t let me brush him. Its summer time and he is losing he winter coat, which means hair is everywhere. Is there a natural or otc sedative that I can give him so that he will relax to be groomed?

When cold weather comes I am in extreme pain.Doctor’s advice doesn’t work.I am so sick of taking tylenol extra strength.

Just to let everyone know this is a serious question.
My mom is 46 years old and I’m not going to lie. Every time I see her lying down in bed barely able to move I feel horrible. She takes her medicine daily but it doesn’t seem to help.
I’m sure there is no known cure for arthritis.
Does anyone know of any proven natural remedies able to heal pains? I’m 19 and will soon head off to college, I would hate to leave her at home like this.

Thanks

One of my family members has really bad rheumatoid arthritis (to the point where she can not get out of the bed some days) and I want to know what I can buy that would be of the most use to her.

Thank you SO MUCH for your help !
